My Kind of Wonderful by Jill Shalvis

UNEXPECTED AND UNDENIABLE…
Bailey Moore has an agenda: skiing in the Rockies, exploring castles in Europe, ballroom dancing in Argentina. Now that she has a second lease on life, she’s determined not to miss a thing. What she doesn’t realize is that item #1 comes with a six-foot-one ski god hot enough to melt a polar ice cap. She doesn’t want to miss out on him either, but Hudson Kincaid isn’t the type of guy to love and let go. And as gorgeous as Cedar Ridge is, she’s not planning to stick around.
As head of ski patrol at his family’s resort, Hud thinks he’s seen it all. But never has he run into someone like Bailey. She might look delicate, but her attitude is all firecracker. And her infectious joy touches something deep within him that he’s been missing far too long. Now he’ll just have to convince Bailey to take a chance on her biggest adventure yet . . . something rare and all kinds of wonderful.

REVIEW
I devoured this book, as I do with all Jill Shalvis books. Heart-strings were pulled while I teared up from love, loss, grief, giddiness... honestly, My Kind of Wonderful had it all.
It's crazy to me how Jill can write so many books, and still pump out fresh characters, settings, and plot lines. My Kind of Wonderful introduces Miss Bailey to the crazy world of the Kincaids. I'm not a big fan of spoilers (who is?), so I don't want to say too much, but Bailey is just what Hudson needed. Someone to loosen him up. Someone to open up his world to something other than the family resort. Hudson has always had to be a caretaker. He is the kind of person who puts everyone and everything ahead of himself-- which isn't necessarily a bad quality, but sometimes you need a little time for yourself, and Bailey gives him just that.
On the flip-side of that, Hudson gives Bailey just what she needs. Bailey has been through a lot, I mean A LOT, in her life... Again, without saying too much, Bailey wasn't able to really live and enjoy life. The freedom that Cedar Ridge, Hudson, and the rest of the Kincaids give Bailey is like a breathe of fresh air for her, and the readers because we know exactly what all she has been through. I love that these two give each other the love, support, friendship, and passion they so need and deserve. Hudson and Bailey's personal experiences combined with their strength and bravery makes for one great story!
Don't forget My Kind of Wonderful is book 2 in the Cedar Ridge series. To take a look at the previous book and what's to come, please check it out HERE! You wont be disappointed!
